Hawthorn Announces New Website, New Small Projects Division, and New Blog

(Atlanta, GA) - Everyone likes to see Before and After pictures to help generate ideas for their own house. Hawthorn Design and Construction is introducing its new web site with more and better pictures, at www.hawthorninc.com. Hawthorn owners Steve Prittie and Deborah Coleman have been running Hawthorn since 1995, building between two and five large remodeling projects at a time. This site, which will be updated regularly, contains a wealth of pictures from many of these additions, kitchens, bathrooms, master suites, and family rooms.

There is also a second new site -- for Laurel Projects, Hawthorn's new small jobs division, at www.laurelprojects.com. This popular new service is headed by Cara Thomson, a Hawthorn designer, and Jason Todd, a highly skilled woodworker. It fills the need for licensed, insured, and experienced craftsmen doing repairs and small projects at a reasonable price.

Laurel Projects employs many of the same licensed tradesmen that Hawthorn has been using for nearly fourteen years, and cost-tracking and billing are handled by Hawthorn's own bookkeeper. (Ask them which local decorator describes Hawthorn as "freakishly organized").

Laurel can handle repairs and problem solving, window and door replacement, built-ins and cubbies, patios and porches; all the way up to kitchens and baths. Projects requiring structural work will, as always, be handled by Hawthorn, the parent company.
